Word on Fire recently published my reflection on what Jiu Jitsu has taught me about life and the spiritual life. I found that just like a white belt starting out in jiu-jitsu, we are living in a world that is in desperate need of an antidote to ego.

Michael Adams hails from the small town of Metamora, IL. He studied Systems Engineering and Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, initially leading his career to the biotech industry.
