Why Is There Mystery?

Last week Word on Fire published my article exploring why there is Mystery surrounding God and His doings. This is a question that I have been asked by many unaffiliated friends and have even asked myself. The purpose of this article is to define what Mystery is, why God saw it so that it should exist, and to explore if there is a divine purpose behind it. Much of this piece was inspired by the incredible works of F.J. Sheed and I owe him greatly for the continual flow of insights he provides me. Michael Adams hails from the small town of Metamora, IL. He studied Systems Engineering and Design at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, initially leading his career to the biotech industry.
